Peter Hodson

Peter is a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong, and England and Wales. He has over 30 years’ experience in fiduciary services, advising high net worth individuals, family offices and financial institutions.

Peter holds a personal fiduciary licence from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, and acts as co-trustee, trust protector, enforcer and a director of private and listed companies. He is also a consultant with Stephenson Harwood’s Private Wealth Group in Hong Kong.

Peter is a former adjunct professor at the University of Hong Kong, where he tutored LLB classes in equity and trusts, and wrote and taught an LLM course on Compliance Law in Practice: ‘The Combat Against Financial Crime’. He also taught the Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning module on the PCLL programme for Hong Kong trainee solicitors for a number of years.

Peter is a long-standing member of STEP and is a tutor for the STEP Certificate in International Trust Management and several STEP Advanced Certificates. He is also author of the Compliance for Trustees module of the STEP Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Private Wealth Advice.
