Caroline Bielanska

Caroline Bielanska is the co-founder, former Chief Executive and former Chair of Solicitors for the Elderly. She is a legal trainer and independent consultant, advising older and vulnerable adults who have limited physical and/or mental capacity.

Caroline is the editor, author and contributor to a significant number of legal books within her specialist field, including A Practitioner’s Guide to the Court of Protection (Bloomsbury Publishing), Cretney and Lush on Lasting & Enduring Powers of Attorney (Lexis Nexis), Elderly Clients - A Precedent Manual (Jordan), Court of Protection Practice (Heywood and Massey) and Elderly People and the Law (Jordan).

In 2017, Caroline was named the winner of both Vulnerable Client Advisor of the Year and People’s Choice – Trusted Advisor of the Year at the Annual STEP Private Client Awards. Caroline is also a committee member of the Court of Protection Rules Review Committee and the Law Society’s Mental Health & Disability Committee.

Caroline is currently the author and tutor for the STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients.
