Michael Parkinson

Mike Parkinson was admitted to the bar in the Cayman Islands in 1985 and has over 30 years’ experience in the offshore financial services industry. Between 1985 and 1998, Mike practiced as a Cayman Attorney-at-Law, specialising in trusts and international offshore litigation with the law firms of Ritch and Conolly and C.S Gill and Co.

 Mike is experienced in the fields of financial services, advising international clients, professional trustees and investment funds, and is the co-author of a two-volume work on hedge funds and fund administration. Mike joined FFP (Cayman) Ltd in 2016 as in-house counsel and is currently involved in a number of high profile cases of global significance.

Mike has worked with CLT International since 1999. He designed the syllabi and authored the five course manuals for the STEP Certificate and Diploma in International Trust Management and continues to be a tutor and author for the STEP Certificate and Diploma in International Trust Management.
