Meet the Team: Episode 9
We are pleased to introduce one of our Programme Delivery Managers, Fadzi Guri.
Fadzi thank you for sharing a snippet into a day at CLTI and a little about yourself ๐
Firstly, can you explain your role here at CLTI?
I am a Programme Delivery Manager here at CLTI. My role involves project management of various CLTI programmes, ensuring a seamless student journey from enrolment to graduation. Furthermore, I am involved in all aspects of operational delivery of courses which include liaising with Subject Matter Experts, smooth assessment delivery, exam boards, review panels and managing the learning management content.
What is something you love about working at CLTI?
I love working for CLTI because there is a cohesive, positive, and transparent work culture. I feel a sense of belonging with the great team that surrounds me. Moreover, there are many opportunities to get involved in projects contributing to the larger vision of CLTI.
What does a typical day at CLTI look like for you?
My typical day starts by checking my Outlook calendar and my ‘To Do’ list. I also utilise my Monday.com boards (project management tool) to manage my work/tasks. Furthermore, I am involved in resolving student queries, liaising with tutors to ensure smooth delivery of workshops/tuition and sit in various meetings/ academic panels conducting assessment reviews or malpractices.
How do you like to start your day?
I start my day by having a bowl of oats porridge and a warm drink before I leave home for work. It’s the oats for me that are a brain starter!
Finally, tell us an interesting fact about you.
During my school days (7-18 years), I used to be a revered 100m and 200m sprinter. I won loads of athletics medals at national level and was tipped to be the next Carl Lewis ๐. However, because of a ligament damage I was forced to retire at 18.
