Meet the Team: Episode 4 

We continue our meet the team series with one of our Admissions Advisors, Sabba Subharn-Ashiq. Sabba has been with CLTI for just over a year.

Sabba, thank you for sharing a snippet into a day at CLTI and a little about yourself 😊  

Firstly, can you explain your role here at CLTI?

I process student enrolments, deal with mainly new sales into the business. I also manage the PPGD programme from an enrolment’s aspect, carrying out Zoom calls with potential students. I deal with applications and checking the entrance level criteria ensuring eligibility, being the first point of contact for students at CLT International.

What is something you love about working at CLTI?

Apart from the humour, I like how passionate everyone is, how driven they are! The support and understanding between the teams during the peak times, which is always appreciated.

I love/hate how most of the team are huge foodies, we love food talk, quite difficult having my Weetabix whilst someone is preparing their Big Johns lunch order! Wouldn’t have it any other way though!

What does a typical day at CLTI look like for you?

We huddle! Every morning our team will get together, look at the figures and plan our day ahead, assigning ourselves to tasks through the day. We will then continue to deal with our work loads, answering any telephones calls that come into the business too. I like to process all enrolments before moving on with something else unless its urgent.

How do you like to start your day?

I wish I can say I started the day with yoga and be that person (perhaps someday?). However, I live for a good tick list, I love having a to-do/checklist for the day, in fact I have one for the week and month! I like to really enjoy my first coffee of the morning, it has to be a bougee one!

Finally, tell us an interesting fact about you..

I was the tallest baby born in Marston Green Hospital at the time of my birth! I am also a qualified Eyelash Technician 😊
