Meet the Team….
We start our day in the life series with our Programme Delivery Team Manager, Holly Lewis. Holly has been with CLTI for over 2 Years.
Holly thank you for being the first person to share a snippet into a day at CLTI and a little about yourself 😊
Firstly, can you explain your role here at CLTI?
I’m the Team Manager for our Programme Delivery Team, part of Education Services at CLTI. We support all students once they are enrolled onto a programme, right through to graduation - ensuring they have access to course materials, assessments and plenty of support. My job is to ensure that the Programme Delivery Managers have everything they need to do their work to the best of their ability, be that organising workflows, providing training, or discussing ways to improve and grow.
What is something you love about working at CLTI?
My colleagues - I feel incredibly lucky to have such a diverse and passionate group of people to work with every day. We put our all into everything we do and make sure that we celebrate success at any opportunity, even a quick win is still a win! Plus… they’re all hilarious which makes for a laughter-filled environment, what more could you ask for?
What does a typical day at CLTI look like for you?
My days are quite varied but usually include a few meetings, often in relation to examinations, planning or active projects. I’m in regular contact with the team throughout the day, supporting and guiding where needed, as well as sharing gifs for any occasion on Teams! We use Monday.com to plan and organise our programme activities, which helps me to oversee the workload across the team at a glance. My inbox fills up very quickly, so I usually plan in time to work through emails too.
How do you like to start your day?
Anyone who knows me won’t be surprised when I say that a strong black coffee is a must, I think I’m one of the few at CLTI who turns the coffee intensity up on our machine in the office rather than down! Aside from caffeine, I usually spend some time pulling together a to-do list for the day, checking my meeting schedule and setting up a good Spotify playlist.
Finally, tell us an interesting fact about you..
I used to have my own nail art blog many years ago and (when I have time) still enjoy creating fun designs on my nails. I can get lost doing my nails for hours and find it really therapeutic!
