Assessment Guidance and Support

Posted in General on

We know how stressful it can be preparing to attend a course or assessment; therefore, with exam season approaching, we thought it would be helpful to include some guidance as to what you can expect during this period.

Booking Courses

If you are looking to book a course, you can do so via the dedicated course pages on our website. If you have not booked online with us before, you will need to register and create a username and password when you book the course. Please ensure you read through the entry requirements before submitting an enrolment application.

Online Learning Platform

Once you have registered, all learning materials can be accessed from the Online Learning Platform, which will be emailed to you as part of an automated booking confirmation. If you already have an account with our Online Learning Platform, you can reset your password by following the link to log-in and selecting the ‘Forgot Password’ button. If you need any assistance with your access, please do get in touch.

During an Assessment/Examination

Detailed assessment guidance can be found on the Online Learning Platform. A reminder of your assessment date, time and location will have been emailed to you at various times in the lead up to your assessment.

Our Customer Services and Programme Delivery teams are on hand to support you with any queries you may have during your examination or assignment submission; you can call us on (+44)121 362 7733 or email at cltinternational@centlaw.com.  Telephone lines are open:

  • Monday to Thursday - 09:00 to 17:30
  • Friday - 9:00 to 17:00

Call +44 (0) 121 362 7733

Whilst our typical service level response time is 1-3 working days, communications and queries relating the immediate course teaching or assessments will always be prioritised for a same day response.

Results Release

If you have recently completed an examination or assignment with us, you can expect to receive your results six weeks afterwards, unless we communicate otherwise. Results will be emailed to your registered email address, so please contact us if your details have changed.

Certificates

A certificate shall be issued to you, both via soft and hard copy within four to six weeks of the result date. When you have completed the STEP Diploma, you will also receive an overall completion certificate which shall be posted within six weeks of the release of your result.

Academic Queries

Any queries that cannot be immediately answered will be forwarded to the course tutor, and you should expect to receive a response within 3-5 working days.

Please ensure you send any academic queries in a timely manner. Academic queries received less than 10 days prior to the examination will not be shared with the tutor for a response.

Deferral Applications

If you are looking to defer an existing registration, please refer to the 'Policy Hub' area of your Online Learning Platform and return the Course Administration Form to cltinternational@centlaw.com.
